Principal's Message
Welcome to Traughber Junior High School!
Our school’s mission statement understands the need for collaboration among our educational institution, families, and community members. We all have a shared responsibility to educate our students to reach their highest potential. This is also reflected in our Student Vision: “Every student, every day, I am a problem solver…a critical thinker…an effective communicator. I am accountable for my choices. I will persevere, even when it is tough.”
I stepped into my role as principal here in 2023. My previous experiences from outside of SD 308 include working as a high school math teacher, middle school assistant principal, and middle school principal.
Our core values of maintaining a motivated and cohesive staff, parental involvement, positive character development, safe environment, integration of school and community, and technology as an instructional tool are at the forefront of everything we do. We know that without these things, Traughber would not be the amazing place it is today!
I hope each of our students feel a sense of belonging to our school. After all, this community is meant for them!
